Talent to Watch Program
NIFCO is pleased to announce the guidelines for the Industry Partner Stream of Telefilm Canada’s Talent to Watch program 2022.
Talent to Watch supports emerging filmmakers looking to finance the production stage of their first feature film project. As an Industry Partner, NIFCO has the ability to nominate one production in the Main component and one production in the Indigenous component. The Deadline to Submit to NIFCO is MONDAY April 11th, 5pm. Nomination decisions will be made by a peer jury and communicated by late April.
There are detailed guidelines in the attached updated documents from Telefilm Canada. Please read carefully and pay special attention to the funding details, revised eligibility guidelines, the required elements to submit as well as the main goals of this program.
• Deadline to submit directly to NIFCO for recommendation consideration: Monday April 11th, 2022 by 5pm.
• All potential applicant teams are encouraged to consult with NIFCO Program Director Anna Petras in advance of the deadline.
• At this time, all application requirements in the Telefilm Canada Guidelines will be required for your submission to NIFCO.
