About Our Audio Facility

NIFCO boasts an audio editing facility that is capable of many configurations. The CPUs for the editing systems are remotely located so there is no extraneous noise generated in the editing room. The editing rooms had been acoustically designed and are near identical clones of each other. We have a large sound effects library available online with all of the major Sound Ideas libraries series available. All of the suites are connected to the NIFCO ISIS media network for ease of workflow within the facility.

Digidesign ICON 5.1 Surround Sound Mix Room

This acoustically designed and tuned room is ideally suited for mixing of documentaries, TV series and low budget features. It features a 32fader ICON configured with Adam S3A monitors and a sub-24; 2 x192 I/O; Sync I/O; Midi I/O; Software Version 7.4, plus a full array of plug-ins including the Waves Platinum bundle, Dolby Surround Tools, and Cedar noise suppression. We also offer Dolby E and AC3 encoding for final deliverables.

David Pope Studio

As a Mix Theatre

The David Pope Studio can be used as a mix theatre with video projection. It has been designed to run either of the audio editing suites remotely. It features Adam S2A monitors and the ProControl interface for ProTools. The room is ideal for pre-mixing surround or stereo mixing of documentaries, TV series and independent short films.

As an ADR/VO Recording Studio

The David Pope Studio can be used to shoot ADR, syncing to any of our VTR’s or digitized picture. If required, NIFCO can arrange for audio recordists.
Facility Only: $500.00/day
With personnel: $100.00/hr. (4hr. min)
Note: fee includes edit suite, ancillary equipment and studio.
As a Music Recording Studio
In this configuration, the studio and edit suites can be used to record a small ensemble or soloist. The studio has been acoustically designed and constructed for isolation. The studio features a 8-channel Digidesign mic-pre.

As a small shooting space, makeup or wardrobe room and for screenings.

$100/day

Notes: All editing suites without editor. Editors must be qualified.
