The best place to start is with our NIFCO Film classes. These courses are led by prominent local filmmakers, and are designed to be both fun and informative. We also offer workshops and intensive training modules throughout the year – often in partnership with our local film festivals!

NIFCO’s First Time Filmmaker Program is an introductory mentor-driven program designed to expose novice filmmakers to the proper equipment, techniques and workflows that go into making a quality short film.

TELEFILM TALENT TO WATCH PROGRAM
NIFCO is pleased to be an intake partner for Telefilm Canada’s TALENT TO WATCH PROGRAM. The TALENT TO WATCH PROGRAM is a production opportunity for first-time feature filmmakers, with an emphasis on digital and online distribution models.
