Music & Image has extended the deadline for applications for the 10×10 Music Video Mentorship Program! Applications will be accepted until Monday August 22 at Noon.
This September, 10 Atlantic Canadian filmmakers and 10 Atlantic Canadian musicians/bands will be paired up to produce 10 music videos, over 5-days. Selected filmmakers and musicians will participate in a music video workshop, on Monday September 12th and have access to video director mentors, professional film equipment and post-production support during the 5-day program from Monday Sept. 12-Friday Sept. 16. Facilitating the program and guiding the teams will be 2011 Juno and 2011 MMVA award winning music video director, Kyle Davison.
An exciting new addition to the program this year is the RBC 10×10 Emerging Artists Award, to be presented to the team selected to have the best video as determined by the audience of fans and a panel of jurors at the final screening on Saturday September 17th. The winning team will be awarded $5000 to be split evenly between the filmmaker and band.
