NLFDC & IATSE 849 Camera Car Workshop

On June 24-26, the NLFDC, in partnership with IATSE Local 849 will present a workshop on a recently purchased Chevrolet 4×4 Camera Car with crane, process trailer, and pan/steer dolly. The course will be instructed by Dolly Grip, Roy Benson and Bill Hong, Camera Car specialist for William F. White International. Bill’s extensive resume includes work on The Dark Knight, Amelia, The Incredible Hulk and numerous other blockbuster films.

There will be three segments to this workshop. The first being held on June 24th for selected key crew members in the province, the second for general interested crew and the third will be an open demonstration for producers, marketing firms, and other interested parties.

Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Cost: $50 (50% Reimbursement for IATSE Members)

Two Half Day presentations for producers, marketing firms and other interested parties
Date: June 26, 2010
Time: 9:30 am – 11:00am
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Cost: FREE – Must register to attend
